BANDA ACEH - SMPN 1 Banda Aceh is increasing its efforts to improve the comfort and aesthetics of its school environment with an ongoing construction project in several areas.
The Commander of the Iskandar Muda Military Command (Pangdam IM), Major General TNI Niko Fahrizal, M.Tr. (Han), with the Alumni Team of SMPN 1 Banda Aceh, are leading the charge to install canopies at the entrance, exit, and garage, as well as install acrylic writing that reads "SMPN 1 Banda Aceh Achieves" on the ceremony stage.
The project is currently on its third day and is expected to complete soon.
A total of eight workers are involved in the project, consisting of five members of Yonzipur 16/DA and three members of Zidam IM. To avoid disruptions to teaching and learning activities, work was carried out at Zidam IM on the second day.
On the third day of the project, the team began work with a real progress from yesterday at 1.07%, real current progress at 3.87%, planned progress at 1.15%, and a deviation of +2.72%.
The work carried out by these skilled workers includes welding hollow iron for the canopy poles, cutting hollow iron for the canopy roof frame, welding hollow iron for the roof frame side supports, and polishing the previous welding marks on the canopy poles.
Major General TNI Niko Fahrizal said that the project is one of Kodam Iskandar Muda's ways of demonstrating its concern for various issues and difficulties faced by the community.
One of Kodam IM's main responsibilities is to carry out territorial development, especially in the area of social communication, as well as implementing one of the points of the 8 obligations of the TNI, which is to lead efforts to overcome the difficulties of people in their.

With the installation of canopies and acrylic writing, SMPN 1 Banda Aceh is expected to create a more comfortable and esthetic school environment and support better teaching and learning activities.
