Aceh Utara - The Commander of the Iskandar Muda Military Command (Pangdam IM), Major General TNI Niko Fahrizal, M.Tr. (Han), accompanied by the Chairperson of the Iskandar Muda Kartika Chandra Kirana Persit Region, Ny. Eva Niko Fahrizal, conducted a working visit to the Air Defense Artillery Battalion 5/Cigra Satria Buana Yudha (Yon Arhanud 5/CSBY) on Wednesday (08/07/24).
The working visit to the Arhanud 5/CSBY Battalion Headquarters began with the tradition of boarding an FCV vehicle towards Gate 1, followed by a report from the Commanding Officer of Arhanud 5/CSBY, Lieutenant Colonel Arh Jamal Dani Arifin, S.Sos., M.M.D.S.
Furthermore, the Pangdam received a report from Post 1 and received a salute from the Kesatrian Guard. The event continued with the laying of flowers, the giving of hand buckets, the Ranup Lampuan dance, tactical martial arts demonstrations, and ended with a group photo with Yonarhanud 5/CSBY officers.
The purpose of this working visit was to observe the condition of the unit and interact directly with soldiers and Persit in the Arhanud 5/CSBY Battalion. In addition, the Pangdam checked the readiness and morale of personnel in the territorial units of the Iskandar Muda Military Command.
Before giving direction, Pangdam witnessed a demonstration of tactical martial arts and Sparko personnel from Yonarhanud 5/CSBY. In his direction, Pangdam emphasized the importance of increasing faith and devotion to God Almighty through worship, maintaining and improving personal and family morale, and morality.
Pangdam also stressed the importance of closeness between leaders and members to facilitate supervision and avoid various forms of violations, especially drugs, pornography, illegal logging, online gambling, and other violations.
Pangdam IM urged soldiers to always be present for the people and be part of the solution in the midst of society. He also reiterated his motto that "The best person is one who can be beneficial to others."
Pangdam also emphasized that TNI soldiers must be militant in times of war and useful in times of peace.
Pangdam affirmed that the Iskandar Muda Military Command always cares about various issues and difficulties faced by the community, as part of its main task, namely territorial development, especially in the area of social communication.
Pangdam reminded the importance of leading efforts to overcome the difficulties of people in their surroundings, in accordance with one of the points of the 8 obligations of the TNI.
Before concluding his direction, Pangdam expressed his pride and appreciation for the spirit and dedication of the soldiers of the Arhanud 5/CSBY Battalion.
