ACEH SINGKIL - PT. Socfindo Kebun Lae Butar, through a partnership program, deployed Grader heavy equipment on Tuesday, August 6 2024 to help repair roads belonging to farmer groups in Sanggaberu Silulusan Village, Gunung Meriah District, Aceh Singkil Regency, Aceh.
The farmer group roads that will be improved include roads from the Sumber Daya, Murah Rezeki, Maulana, and Mitra Sejati farmer groups. This heavy equipment was deployed to help repair damaged farmer group roads, including leveling mounds of land.
In addition, this activity also carried out the construction of water drainage channels on land belonging to several farmer groups in Sanggaberu Silulusan.
The management of PT Socfindo Kebun Lae Butar Aceh Singkil, Boby Hercules through the Assistant Head (Askep), Satria Winata in his statement to Singkillterkini.net, Wednesday (7/8), expressed his thanks to DPC APKASINDO Perjuangan Aceh Singkil who has become a working partner so far, as well as synergy in developing farmer groups.
Satria said that PT Socfindo Kebun Lae Butar is ready to help farmer groups that have partnerships with the company. This partnership collaboration with farmer groups has been running for more than a year. So far, there have been 18 farmer groups that have partnered with PT Socfindo Kebun Lae Butar.
"The activities carried out aim to ensure road access can be better and can be traversed comfortably by farmers or oil palm planters in the area," said Satria.
Farmer group business road infrastructure improvement activities will continue to be carried out according to existing programs. The company hopes that this program can have a positive impact on the palm oil farming community around the company.
Satria also explained that this road repair was part of a partnership program between PT Socfindo Kebun Lae Butar and the assisted farmer groups. This will later be seen in the increase in production from the company's partner oil palm plantations in the future.
"The main aim of this program is to help increase palm oil production for company partner farmers and to facilitate transportation," said Satria.
Satria also expressed his gratitude to the chairman and members of the farmer groups who have maintained good relations with each other so far in maintaining the continuity of cooperation as company partners. (Jamal)
