Aceh Singkil -- The Polres Aceh Singkil held a "cipta kondisi" raid in several strategic points in the Aceh Singkil area as part of the Seulawah Patuh Operation 2024.
The operation aims to reduce traffic violations and increase public awareness of safe and orderly driving.
The raid primarily focused on checking the completeness of vehicle and driving documents, the use of helmets by motorcycle riders, as well as compliance with traffic signs.
The Police Chief of Aceh Singkil, AKBP Suprihatiyanto, S.I.K., stated that the Seulawah Patuh Operation 2024 is a police effort to create a more orderly and safer traffic environment.
He hopes that through this operation, people can be more disciplined in driving and follow traffic rules, thereby reducing accidents and violations on the road.
Apart from taking enforcement action against violators, the Aceh Singkil Police also provided education to the public about the importance of traffic safety.
Preventive efforts, such as distributing traffic safety brochures and conducting direct counseling to riders, were carried out during the operation.
The Cipta Kondisi Raid aims not only to improve traffic compliance but also to reduce traffic accidents and fatalities in the jurisdiction of the Aceh Singkil Regency.
The Seulawah Patuh Operation 2024 will last for 15 days, from Monday, July 15 until July 29, 2024, Polres Aceh Singkil calls on the public to comply with traffic regulations and obtain genuine vehicle documents, as well as examine the condition of their vehicles before using them.
"With this operation, it is hoped that a better and safer traffic condition can be created, as well as raising public awareness of traffic for all road users in the Aceh Singkil area," said AKBP Suprihatiyanto.
