During the ceremony, the Pancasila Text was read by the Bupati and recited by the participants, consisting of officials from various departments and students from elementary, middle, and high schools. In his remarks, Bupati Konsel, H. Surunuddin Dangga, conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for the youth figures who declared the Oath of Youth in 1928, becoming the pioneers of the youth to achieve Indonesia's independence and maintain the integrity of the state.
The theme for this year's HSP, "Bersatu Kita Maju" (United We Advance), reaffirmed the commitment of the youth who took the Oath of Youth in 1928 that only through unity can we fulfill the nation's aspirations. The theme is intended for the entire nation, but for the youth, it is a must, as Indonesia's future lies in their hands.
To move forward, Indonesia's youth must possess character, capacity, innovation, creativity, inspirational spirit, independence, and an ability to withstand and excel in facing global competition. Today's youth have a task to break through the boundaries of primordial attitudes and towards unity and national integrity.
Bupati Konsel stated that the world is waiting for Indonesian youth, and they must strive to produce ideas, determination, aspirations to sacrifice and fight for a better future. The sacrifice and struggle will never be in vain if done with a noble purpose.
On this 91st anniversary of the Oath of Youth, we honor the youth, founders, and heroes of our nation, as well as pray to the Almighty that they will always be protected and blessed. The ceremony ended with the flag-raising ceremony by the Paskibra and the singing of the national songs, reminding us that unity is essential in achieving Indonesia's aspirations for a brighter future..
