The TMMD program, which is aimed at promoting national integration by helping to build infrastructure and develop communities, has been successful in bringing together not only members of the military but also police officers and local communities. This is because the program covers a wide variety of activities, such as road construction, water supply improvements, and healthcare outreach programs.
In TMMD 106 Kodim 0118/Subulusaam, which was centered in Jontor and Sikelang Villages in Penanggalan Sub-district, police officers from Aceh Singkil Police also participated in the program. AKBP Andrianto Argamuda stated that the involvement of the police in TMMD programs is not new, and it has become a regular occurrence in Aceh Singkil.
This is primarily because the Aceh Singkil Police has jurisdiction over two regions, namely Aceh Singkil Regency and Subulussalam City. Hence, the cooperation and collaboration between the military and the police force are meant to ensure that peace, public order, and safety are maintained in the area.
Under this program, police officers took part in various activities such as health clinics, social programs, and community outreach initiatives, emphasizing the role the police force can play in enhancing the well-being of communities. Additionally, the police force has been conducting regular joint patrols with the military to maintain security in the region.
The TMMD program has been successful in promoting inter-agency collaboration, and this collaborative effort has yielded positive results.
